Gopnik review

Theme and Storyline

Gopnik is themed around life in an ex-Soviet slum where a gopnik is a subculture of delinquent youths.

Players will find themselves in a desolate neighborhood where only the toughest survive. As players meet an array of criminals, they'll need to keep their wits about them to come out on top. For those who don't know, Gopnik is a term for a delinquent member of the urban culture in the former Soviet Union.

This slot is perfect for players seeking a unique theme.

Graphics, Sounds, and Animations

The soundtrack of Gopnik is influenced by classical Russian music, adding to the Soviet vibe. Occasionally, taunting vocalizations add to the atmosphere of desperation.

The cevrimici slot is set in a grey and dirty street with buildings in the distance that appear to be abandoned. It becomes very clear that prosperity has not reached this world.

On the reels, players will see lower-paying symbols represented by Cyrillic letters. Players will also meet a cast of characters, including a thin blonde woman with a fur hat, a gaunt young boy, and a smirking ruddy-faced man. To some players, it might be bothersome that some stereotypes are used to portray these individuals.

A metal bat wrapped in barbed wire makes an appearance on the reels, as well as a man in a gas mask. These graphics suggest a world filled with peril and violence.

Overall, the soundtrack and animation of Gopnik create an immersive vision of Soviet poverty.

Gopnik is a five-reel, four-row slot, with 30 win lines. An additional reel is available during special features.

The maximum win for this slot is 6,666x the player's total bet.

The Babushka symbol substitutes for all regular symbols and has the special ability to mark as many as 4 positions on the reels. If a Gopnik character symbol lands on one of these marked positions, it is awarded a multiplier ranging from 5x to 50x.

If a Burner Phone symbol lands on reel 5, then it will "ring" and permit other symbols to answer, turning into Wilds.

Special xNudge Wilds are 4 rows high and will always "nudge" to become fully visible on the reel. Every "nudge" will increase the multiplier by +1. Only two xNudge Wilds may land at the same time.

If players land at least 3 Scratch Card kampanya odulu Scatters, the promosyon game will be triggered. In the event that the cards reveal 3 Dice symbols, the Street Roll bonus will start. Alternatively, if 3 Calculator symbols are revealed, the Kiosk Raid kampanya odulu will start.

The Street Roll hosgeldin paketi begins with 7 free spins and an additional reel added to the grid. During this feature, Gopnik characters may display a Dice token on reels 1 and 6. If Dice tokens appear on both reels, a special Cheeki Breeki Dice mini game will begin.

The Kiosk Raid Bonus begins with 3 free spins. During the feature, only Label symbols will land on the reels, and each new symbol that appears will reset the spin count to 3.

There are special Super versions of the Street Roll bonus and the Kiosk Raid bonus features. These can be triggered by landing 3 Bonus Scatter symbols along with 1 Super kampanya odulu Scatter symbol.

The maximum win for this video slot, 6,666x the player's total bet, is awarded if the Scratch Card feature reveals the Golden Car symbol.

Bet Sizes, RTP, and Variance

The Return to Player of Gopnik is 95.64%, below our yardstick for average of roughly 96%.

The range of bets on the site we tested ran from a minimum bet per spin of $/£/€0.10 up to a maximum of $/£/€500.00 per spin.

High volatility would make Gopnik a good match for our preferred slot machine strategies if its RTP were slightly higher. We suggest targeting the highest possible volatility in combination with a decent RTP when selecting slots.

Conclusion

We do not recommend this low RTP, high volatility, Soviet slum-themed slot.

Sadly, Gopnik's RTP is too low to merit a strong recommendation. It is also worth noting that the theme may not be everyone's cup of tea due to its portrayal of Soviet-era crime and poverty.

However, the entertaining bonuses may make this cevrimici slot a worthy choice for some players.
